Good

Big room with washing-drying machine, many restaurants near by.

The quilt is too thick. The air conditioning is not cold enough. Some toilet smell from the shower room. Very small front desk waiting area.

Very good position close to food outlets and transport links. Appreciated the washing machine.

Great bed, nice bathroom, shame the bath was very short. Staff very helpful.

Good

The staff were fantastic, the went above and beyond for us.

The cleanliness in the bathroom wasn't up to scratch, we only had 3 coffee pods instead of 4 (2 nights, 2 adults I would expect 4 coffee pods), the airconditioning didn't work very well.

Great hotel

Rooms were spacious, modern and clean. It is in a great location, is quiet and is right across from the best ramen restaurant

We loved this hotel, the lift is a bit small, but honestly that is so minor.

Pefect location and big rooms (we had a 3 people bed-room)

Super friendly staff with warm welcome! The rooms are big for Tokyo (we had a 3 people bed-room). Location is perfect for discovering the city and not far away from the metro station. We will come back!

Less-touristy vibe

I booked the Luxury Corner Twin Room. Based on past hotels, I thought “twin” implied there would be two beds each smaller than a queen. But the beds here were huge, and they were pushed up against each other so it made one giant bed. It worked for us (parents and young child), and I could have gotten a smaller room for less. The bed set up may not work for a group of grown ups who are used to having separate beds. Noise level - way better than if we stayed in a hotel in a touristy spot. My side of the bed was right next to the sliding door (that led to a balcony) so I could hear the bar patrons at night. However my spouse and child did not complain. The staff were helpful and polite, and most of them do speak English.

Washer/dryer was good to have for our longer stay in the summer. It was more efficient with smaller loads, specially the drying part which took a lot of time. As an alternative, the shower room does have a clothesline you can pull out. We did not use the couches/pull out beds, they both looked dilapidated. If you’re trying to chill at night after a long day out, don’t bother with the TV unless you have a way of hooking up your table/laptop to stream your own shows. The bars/restaurants right next door and right across do not allow children. There is a nearby place called Akafudaya Benkei which does allow children and has great food and lets you order on a tablet.

Great position, very friendly staff, good sized room.

Size of the room, comfortable beds.

Our room suited a superking bed, we ordered a twin room, they squeezed two double beds into a small space which meant no access to one bed from the side and no room for a bedside table.

It is a nice place to stay

Our accommodation was without problems, the place is clean with many facilities. The location was very close to a lot of restaurants and bars. Also, there were a few metro station not far from the hotel. The staff is very nice.

Here it depends on everyone's preference, the design of the hotel (meaning the carpet, wallpaper, furniture) and the room seems a bit old school and bold. Otherwise, there is nothing I didn't like

Good value!

The room was quite large-especially for Tokyo and the room was clean. The staff was very nice!!! I liked the pajamas!! Location was very good with food nearby and accessible metro line.

The hallways looked to be in need of repair, there was some kind of substance on our bed frame and the wall behind it that I had to remove with Kleenex and the room smelled like smoking had occurred for many years

Location was superb and it’s great for all travellers types.

Cleaning up should be included in the price and ironing facilities.

The Japanese style family suite was perfect for my family of five. I just wished it had more than one bathroom but otherwise it was huge and spacious and even had a massage chair! Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful.

A wonderful holiday in an awesome, safe city - we will return.

The location was outstanding, between two metro stations, two wonderful cafes and three 7-elevens! The staff were very friendly and helpful and made our stay stress-free.

The rooms are small and there was not a lot of room for luggage, but we survived as we spent most of our time on the go and were not in the room.

Overall good hotel (staff service, room size and nearby amenities), just decor slightly dated

The location is close to both Akasaka Mitsune and Akasaka stations. Lots of choices to eat nearby, convenience store, cafes and even a stationery store and a fruits store in the neighborhood. The cleaning staff was great. They were friendly when we passed them by in the corridor. They seem to work in a team and I could tell they were really dedicated and worked hard at their job.

The area is indeed buzzy, and therefore also home to pubs and I believe clubs, so there's some rowdiness on the streets (not a lot) and some advertising posters with girls (hostesses I think) which you will spot inevitably during your stay in the area. Also due to the pubbing, we did spot someone throwing up in a corner and also on a separate occasion some puke in the morning. For the hotel, it wasn't so great that it had only 1 lift. Reception staff was mostly very friendly and helpful, but there was a man one morning who was a bit curt and a bit unsmiley and didn't seem to understand English very well. But all other staff were great. The hotel lobby was a bit dark and dated for my taste. Also, I think the room would have been better if it were fully carpeted. Overall if the interiors were updated, it would have been a great improvement to the hotel's attractiveness.
